I know he was banned... was just asking, out of curiosity if any other members could do it... shit I could get it done if I knew what specs to make the sleeve 2.
Very cool. Im glad somebody is taking this somewhere.
What are you making it from? Will the OD be ground?
I'm not quite sure... I'm going to speak to my engineer sometime this week. I still need to go and buy some E28 hubs.
I'll leave it up to him... while I'm there I think I i must snap some pictures of the engine block he made for his Door Slammer... crazy, engineering on that thing.
Can someone remind me why a machine shop can re-drill/tap stock 4-lug hubs to 5 lugs? Not even do the rotor - just the one-time redrill of the hubs, then a spacer/adapter on the caliper for say e36 m3 binders???
I think that is what would be most cost effective.... no???

Get regular e36 non m rear hubs. They bolt right up.
WRONG!!!
E36 rear hubs do not fit in the E30 TA's without some special bearing to take up the difference in size. I looked at it when we were doing a set of wheel bearings on an E36 and the E36 hub, without the use of a specially sized bearing, will not physically fit in the E30.
Easy way to do it: buy a set of rear hubs from the dealer for like 350 bucks and when you do the wheel bearings, just go a head and swap them in.
