don't quote me, but from experiences learned:
the trailing arms are exactly the same. down to the plastic tab mounting thingis. the calipers are different but their carriers are exactly the same; you are right on that one. *edited section*/

i have yet to touch the abs sensors as my car decided not to start. gotta do 1 thing at a time in order of priority..what good is abs when the car won't even move :* (

my z3 and e30 rear bearings were different size exterior diameter. which would mean that the trailing arms are not the same size.

so can this now be called a difinitive answer?

E30 and Z3/E36Ti are NOT the same when it comes to the bearing/hub area, but the geometry and almost the rest of it is the same (bushings and brackets, etc.).

i'm not going to confirm somethig i'm not 100%...i'm trying to keep r3v clean.. infact i'm going to delete the bearing statement of my previous post.

as for the caliper carriers and the rest of the post i am correct.

I'll go a head and say it. E30 (including M3's), Z3's, and 318ti's use the SAME trailing arms. Same bearings, different hubs. I have helped do 3 5-lug swaps, personally. One was mine which used E30M3 parts, just bought hubs for the rear and pressed them in with new bearings. One was using E36 318ti parts and that was the track car at my old job. One was using MZ3 parts, and those do have different trailing arms with HUGE bearings, like 1.5 times the size of the E30/E36 bearings.
