that really is the most interesting setup so far, I am very tuned in to see pics.

TI hubs wouldn't fit into IX bearings, did you have a spacer machined?

I'll post pics as soon as possible. Car is not beautiful.. more like all go, no show. 8)

TI hubs do fit ix as they do fit every other e30 (rear), but if I remember correctly only 323Ti hubs fit. Other models had different hubs. All hubs fit "bolt-on" to ix. Only front disc rubbed against lower control arm. I had to make a 5mm spacer between hub and disc. This wouldn't be issue if some other discs were used, but I wanted to use these (325x25 and reasonable price :D). All calipers needed custom adapter to fit. No fancy multi-piston brakes, but stops a whole lot better than stock 325ix.

maybe euro 318ti use same hubs as I6 z3s, because in US that would never work as hub would be 3 millimeters smaller in diameter and would require a spacer sleeve. Oh well, still awaiting pics, this is the most intriguing setup in this thread to date.

Here's one picture from today. We had our annual "bimmerparty" here in Finland. At quartermile the car went 11,5s @ 197km/h.

m50 pistons and conrods, enem z45 turbo cam, megasquirt + msd 6al. Holset hx52. Stock headgasket with "o-ringed" block. Nothing special there.. pretty much "original bmw parts".


Here's a video of the 1/4 mile event. 11,5s run @ ~3min.

17x8.5 et 12 & 17x9.5 et 24. Running 215/40/17 Federal's. It's my absolute dream set up. E36-E30 Ground Control set up, Turner sways, IE subframe bushings, Mason front and rear strut braces
