Increase caster on E36 front suspension swaps

So I am thinking of making my own LCA Bracket, much like the Treehouse racing eyeball arms but with more caster to properly center the wheel using the E36 stuff. I have access to an CNC, so I can prototype a few different versions.

Anybody know what the eyeball arms are lined with?

Probably a delrin liner, but that's wild speculation on my part

My man Todd at Dynotech Motorsports (www.dynotechonline.com) hooked me up with these and it more the fixed the caster and increased handling like a razer. I was running delren before I went 5 lug and it's night and day between the two.

that's interesting, what is it mounted too? or did you weld on extra bracket?

I always wanted a cross bar to tie both lollipops together and make them adjustable... It would stiffen chassis and allow another adjustment.

Todd custom fabricated a bracket using the original bolt hole locations.

Its going to a smaller than that, but yeah. Same idea.

I need to get my ride height set at the proper height and I will decide how much caster I need to get back to stock specs.

I am trying to get auto-cad re-installed soon so I can draft this thing up.

I had about 7.3 or bi tless degrees of castor on front with e36 stuff and CAB's. I purchased the THR eyeball arms, machined the holes about 10mm to get more castor, now it's about 9.3 degrees or so of castor...it's pretty much the factory specs or "feel".

Mine with the E30 offset M3 CABs and M-roadster struts has 8 degrees of caster up front but my wheels still arent centered in the wheelwells.
how did you guys end up with such lower caster readings? I have lower CA's from an M roadster, too.. I was told the struts and CA's were the same as an M3 96-up, but maybe there are slight differences

Anybody else on the site use M-Z3 stuff in the front? I'd be interested in purchasing a set of those custom CAB's if dynotech is gonna make anymore of them. (that was a one-off custom made part, right?)
