and i thought i was the only one that thought that..........
btw, FYI, it would be about a $250 mistake if you decided later you wanted different spring rates later on. (not including the reselling of your springs)
Jesus christ, Dale is a fucking dickhead. I called him and told him I wanted to run 450/600's with 6" springs all around, and he told me that I would be best off with 375/475's with a 5.5" rear spring.
With a 6" 600 lb. spring you might be riding a bit high. I didn't know they had 5.5" springs though. I'm running a 6" 500 lb spring and the rear sits maybe 1/2" higher than I would like with the adjuster at the bottom.

Yea, thats what I'm trying to avoid. What rates are you running btw?
Wow...sorry I recomended you talk to him. I had a very pleasant experience. Good luck with whatever you go with. You can go with whatever spring rates you want. They dont have the final decision.
Ok, so I called back and talked to Jay. Very nice guy. I went ahead and ordered 375/475 rates. He reassured me that these are probably as stiff as I'm gonna wanna run if the car is going to be street driven here in WA, so I figured I might as well take his word. He's also apparently sending me hardware so that I wont have to modify the front struts in any way. I asked him about how this would affect the ride height, but he said since I'll be running the camber plates, the loss of drop will be made up anyways.
So.. now just ythe excitement of waiting for the kit to get to my doorstep! I would definitely recommend talking to Jay at GC in the future, he was extremely helpful.
im 20... im just not really into teh whole suspension thing yet...... my backround came from racing gokarts and stuff liek that cars suspension is new 2 me...

seriously dude... find someone w/ gc's in ur area and try em out.
to answer the above question, i have 300/475's. it seams like a common setup. i know two other people on these boards that asked for different springs, yet got 300/475's. ***check your spring rates people***, i kid u not.
from the posts i've read online, i thought 300/475's were wimpy... but they are pretty damn stiff. i'd not want to ride on anything harsher on the street. if my car was a full blown race car i would possibly have a different outlook though, but its stiffer then any other basic race spring (non-coilover) you'll find on the market. (IE, j-stock, etc.)
