front abs sensors cable repair

has anyone used the abs generic cable part number 61131390540 to repair the front sensor cables ?

i need both fronts and the repair cable is $135 as opposed to $500 cdn to replace them. mine deteriorated at the clip on the strut. they were working, and i tried a repair, but i can't reinstall proper. i'm thinking of getting the repair cable and cutting / splicing a section from the middle of both. connectors are still good.

i'm not sure they were even routed correct. if anyone has a link to the proper mounting i'd be grateful as well. the molded mounts on the cable weren't in use and the cable was clipped into the mount on the strut and held just by the regular sheath. i'm gonna see if i can get a part number off them. they look to be the same ones to me, they should be different side to side on the front.

I have an extra set of the left and right front abs sensors, genuine BMW, used, in good working condition. They are BMW part numbers 34521178981 and 34521178982. PM if interested.

34521178982, the front right sensor, is no longer available new from BMW, and the OEM Bosch version has also been discontinued.

didn't even occur to me someone might have a set for sale. i ordered the repair cable but will see how it goes. a decent used set has better appeal.
