Ok so Im about to go nuts right now. Originally I wanted to drop the subframe/trailing arms/diff as a unit but to make a long story short Ive taken everything off except the actual subframe itself. I CAN NOT get it off the car. I cant slide the ends down off the bolts because the center part catches on the drive shaft. I cant pull it back away from the drive shaft because of the bolts on the end. I read that the bolts should pound up through the car but I pounded the bejeezus out of them and they dont move. Also I dont see bolt heads in under the back seat. Help!
Dropping the subframe?!

I've never dropped one, but is there any reason you aren't just removing the driveshaft? Mark it, loosen the center nut, and pull off the rear section. 2-3 minutes of work... -
the driveshaft should already be marked, also you should pound harder on the bolts with a bigger hammer, i used a 4lb hammer. The bolt heads are recessed into the body and covered with rubber, if you look you'll see holes filled in. You might try to clear out the rubber and maybe that will make it easier for the bolts to be pounded through. Also if you're reinstalling the parts by yourself i foudn it easier to just put the subframe in first and then connect the trailing arms to it. hope that helpsComment

pound harder on the bolts.
The subframe might be stuck inside the body. You might need to hit it to get it unstuck... but hopefully the aluminum top of the subframe bushing does not break off inside the body... it is a bitch to drill / sand / break and remove. Ask me how I know.Comment

Those aren't bolts you are pounding on, they are studs and if they do come out... Not good.
Take the driveshaft all the way out.I'm Not Right in the Head | Random Rants and other Nonsense1st Order Logic Failure: Association fallacy, this type of fallacy can be expressed as (∃x ∈ S : φ(x)) → (∀x ∈ S : φ(x)), meaning "if there exists any x in the set S so that a property φ is true for x, then for all x in S the property φ must be true".Comment

There are black plastic caps IIRC that you take off and have to dig out the foam.
