Help with rear wheel bearing tips/advise with install

Long story short. I had the SIR B90 tool to remove the rear wheel bearings, got new ones from FCP Groton seemed a little suspect, no traditional markings SKF/FAG. I installed them and the hub on top and 1 seems very loose and noisy the other is binding.
Any tips on installing the bearings I froze them and they did go in quite easy even the hub on the bearings went on relatively easy.
I didn’t want to chance it and ordered a new set known brand SKF.
I’m going to remove them again-dreading since I had to splice out the inner race since it stuck to the hub.
But again-any tips on pressing the bearings in, I want to rule out my technique and blame the bearings but definitely want to make sure this time around.
Also any tips on putting the half shaft/axle back on, I pressed it out with a 3 jaw puller.
    thx.

hey remove the whole trailing arm...spray some pb on the axle ends if its really difficult to remove (mine were relatively easy to pull off on all my cars)
With the trailing arm off it's much easier to press the bearings in...with the trailing arm off if you have one near, you can take it to a machiner and have them press it in quickly and cheaply. (that's what I did)

good idea...I'll use that as a second line

For now, I feel like I'm so close to getting this done its killing me. New bearings should be here by Saturday. It could be that I didn't support the back of the bearing enough when I was pressing it in so that the race of the bearing got mis aligned. I'll pull off what I have done so far and examine, this will give me a chance to clean the splines on the ub to make sure the line up with the axle.

Just pray that the inner race of the new bearings don't stick to the hub when I take them out....

Even with a complete set of pullers, this job can be a PITA. You may want to remove the shocks to clear. I feel your pain. Just take your time.
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

I just did this same job in June and am trying to figure out where you could have gone wrong. The only thing that comes to mind is you recieved the wrong bearings. Or perhaps the car you have is an early car that someone put late trailing arms and hubs on, or vice versa.

              update-thanks all-now 1 axle won't go in

You guys are great-thanks for the advice and support. I'm going to go with the bearings I got, I took out the hubs and reseated everything and it seems ok now. This is after ordering a second set....(spares now)

I just can't get the passenger side axle to go in enough through the hub so I can pull it in with the nut.

Any advice on how to clean/chase the splines of the hub or axle so I can finish this up? File/dremel grenade chainsaw, I'm tired. I think this is really what's holding me back at the moment.

              thanks again.
