    Question about rear camber/toe adjusters

    I have a question about the weld on camber/toe kits sold by Bimmerworld and IE.
    I've heard that these are just stock eccentric bolts and nuts from some other model. Can somebody tell me what car these are from? The last time I got an alignment, one of the nuts wasn't tightened enough and ended up loosening up and falling off. (This actually happened to both my e30s)
    So, now I need to order two of those goofy washers and nuts, but I don't want to have to order a whole new kit.

      I'm sure IE will sell individual parts if you need them too.

        Yeah, I'd rather just order the parts from BMW though than having to go through IE.

          Glad I read this thread, I just got my rear subframe camber/toe adjusters back on the car this past weekend and going for my first alignment with them tomorrow. I will definitely make sure they tighten the nuts up completely. :hitler:

            You should mark the bolts/nuts with a paint pen so you can visually check if the nuts are moving on you.

              I used some nyloc nuts, have yet to have one loosen up on me and change settings even with rally use.

                I'm pretty sure they are parts 11, 12, and 13 in the diagram. 15, 16, and 17 look to me like they wuld be too big especially the nut/bracket piece

                  Just got around to reinstalling the washer and nut today, and it turns out I ordered the wrong ones. It is NOT #s 15,16, and 17 in the above picture.

                  11,12, and 13 look to be correct as stated above by E30_fiend, so I'll be ordering those up soon.

                        those of you with this setup, how are you getting to the outer most nut? I can get a box end wrench on the nut, but then I have absolutely no space to loosen/tighten it. My cone wrenches don't work either. I've seen someone cut holes in the body but i'm not ready to do that yet.

                          When everyone welded the reinforcement tabs onto the subframe how did you make sure the tabs were in the correct alignment position? do you just throw a level on top of the tab and call it good, did you use the sub frame bushing mount as a reference? I am trying to think it through and this is pretty much all I have left to do before I put the sub frame back in. Also to answer your question, these are the part numbers I ordered from pelican parts for the bolt eccentric and nut

                          33-32-1-092-310-BOE - eccentric
                          33-32-1-095-102-BOE - bolt
                          33-32-6-760-668-M9- Nut

                            You use the subframe mount as a reference for the tabs. I just wonder how people are actually and easily doing this. Are you leveling the subframe bushing than just using that to level the weld on trailing arm bushing tabs?

                              I grinded down a wrench to tighten the outer nuts
