Flashing Brake lining light???

Every now & then when either I am making a turn or using my brakes, the brake lining light flickers on and off. When I pull out of the turn and straighten out the flickering stops. & once I stop using my brakes the flickering also stops.. could this be of bad brake lines or is there something else..?? Please & thanks

Two areas to check:

1. Brake lining sensors; either the wire is broken or sensor pad worn braking circuit (your pads are worn). This is a cheap and easy fix.
2. A break in your instrument panel circuit board. I have read a thread on reflowing the solder, but found it easier to replace the board with my spare one. I found this to be a common problem with the E30. I hope the flickering is caused by your wear sensors.

I will probably try number 1.. it might be that kuz alot of squeeelin is going on nowadays... another side note is this only happend after I bled the brake fluid and replaced the original ATE fluid with Castrol fluid.. Im pretty sure I did this correctly.. but then again I may be wrong. I might even try 1 & 2

I am having this issue and found the wired exposed in the rear before it gets to the sensor. It is going it now again so have to investigate further.

Oh yes.. correction.. my bad lol I said brake lining light.. but its actually the brake fluid light that flickers.. and I did drain the complete system of brake fluid and replaced fluids.. Still trying to find the problem >.<

I have a 1989 325i with a MotoMeter cluster.. In sequence, Park Brake-Brake Lining-Brake Fluid-Anti Lock-Battery-Check Oil.. But yeah.. i also have a wobbling sound in the rear so sometime tomorrow I will raise the front and rear up to see if I have any kind of leak from my brake fluid swap.. or if anythings not tight or if the brake wires are dead.

If it flickers then you are low on fluid. If you are not then it is the sensor on the cap. You might just need a new cap then.

I checked the float and cleaned it.. nothing wrong. but i just found out that it may be the sensors are tied.. my dad tied them up lol

The brake fluid and the brake lining lights have different sensors. So they are not related. If it is the fluid, it is the cap. Wiggle it around while the switch is on and see if you see it change.
