Just to update.... I went with a 2.8 stroker and used the 944 booster with a early 90s 750i master cylinder, the 25mm one...

The rest of my braking system is stock E30.. EBC pads on all 4 wheels...

All I can say is, wow! If I'm not careful I will have my nose pressing the windshield... It stops extremely well....

No ABS on my car (I removed it) And I still don't have any wheel lockup even on a simulated panic stop..
I am very pleased and impressed the way this worked out..

If you can't lock your wheels w/o abs and upgraded MC then you don't have good enough fluid or pads ;)

I am posting my personal experience to try and be helpful to others..

Oh I can lock the wheels... But it doesn't come on so fast that I can't control the car.. To me it's a near perfect setup...

I have done a lot of DEs and many autox.. Not saying I'm expert in any way.

And unless you are around where you could actually drive my car you can't in all honesty try to tell me what it's capable of...

If I can easily lock up all four in a simulated panic stop with a stock 19-20mm mc, I imagine it's only easier to do with an upgraded master....or does it somehow magically give your tires more grip at the same time ;)
