    Diff Fitting

Is the Differential Fitting on the 318i, the same as fitting a 3.25lsd from an e28 onto a 325i subframe?

    Anybody have experience with this?

For a better understanding of what I'm asking...

I've currently got a 318i subframe and whatever the stock diff is it comes with.
I'm going to swap in a 325i subframe and a 3.25lsd from an e28. Im talking about the distance from the driveshaft flange to the diff

You need to swap the rear case cover and the two drive flanges.

The subframe should be the same. I swapped a 188 case 3.73 out of a 325is in my early 318.

The ones off your original diff may not work though since it's a small case.
