Where to get new control arm ball joint boot?

I need a new rubber boot to replace a torn one for a control arm ball joint, does anyone know where I can get one?

I don't think you can buy standard rubber boots.

How long has the boot been torn? You sure your ball joint isn't wasted?

I'm getting it from Jordan, and he said that the boot doesn't look like it's been torn long, and that the ball joint is fine. :)

I have my two 60k mile control arms if you want them. ;)

I was also under the impression that you really couldn't change them either, at least without ripping them again.

You can definitely have the ball joints pressed out and new ones pressed in. I'm sure if you find the part number (if there even is one) that you can get the boots. You might just want to go with the urethane one... you're only buying one, right?

Yeah, one of the control arms I'm getting from him is a nearly-new OE control arm, and the other is a good condition one, with just a torn boot.

How much are the urethane ones? I didn't see them on BavAuto's site.

bmpd.com has the urethane ones for $3.75 each... comes with lube too.

If you can manage to tear those, you are the man :) BMP's urethane boots are man style.
