    OE E30 M3 Front Rotors

Anyone have a good place to find deals on OE e30 M3 front rotors? I've got a e30M3 five lug swap and I keep cracking aftermarket rotors on track. A big E30M3 guy suggested I run OE rotors. He's never had a terminal crack on OE rotors. The dealer wants an arm and a leg for them. Thanks

I think you posted this same topic on s14.net, which is down at the moment.

In any case, I really don't know, because I drive like an old woman.

But to help other people reading this thread, you said you were using Zimmerman blank rotors, right? Are you running any ducting? Or are you using stock backing plates?

Actually, it was e30tech where I posted. I wonder if others are having this problem.

I have the ducting that takes the air from the front directly into the wheel hub. I have cracked a brand new Zimmer and an SP performance. I just bought some really expensive OE rotors so we'll see how that goes...

Have you rebuilt the brake calipers? Are you running brass bushings? This might be a hydraulic issue where the calipers are lightly dragging.

Yes, rebuilt them about 9 months ago. Interesting you said that. I re-rebuilt them on this past sunday. I'm running the brass bushings at all four corners.
