Polyurethane bushing owners, get in here!

I am torn between rubber suspension bushings and polyurethane. My concern is noise. I do not want squeaky bushings and suspension noises. Do you have problems with the bushings being squeaky , is there a surefire way to prevent this or should I just get rubber bushings and be done with it.

Get poly if you need it. If the car doesn't see the track that often, you're fine with rubber. 75D poly is good for trailing arms. Less deflection.

Btw "Self lubricating" is a physical impossibility. It's just a low friction surface.

      Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!

Mine squeak, but not that much. Either way, I love them.

Great suspension upgrade, really tighten up the responsiveness of the suspension. I love all my poly bushings! :-D

Through my experience with poly unless its a race car go rubber.

Poly makes the ride much more rough. If you put a good set of shocks/springs and sway bars the car is plenty of fun and its still very streetable.

I have a car with all poly and just about everything in the catalog on it. Its not any fun to drive as a daily.

                Just my opinion.

just lube them up right and you will have no problems at all.

I've had poly bushings for almost 8 years and I've never heard a squeak from any of them.

I don't know how they'd squeak, none of them have moving parts. the TABs rotate around a steel tube, the bushings themselves don't move anywhere.

I also noticed virtually zero increase in NVH.
