Is there any way to test an ABS sensor with a multimeter?

I did a search but couldn't find anything. Does anyone know how to test an ABS sensor with a multimeter or if it is possible? Thanks.

I'm sure it's possible, but I've never seen any specs for one so you'd be shooting in the dark.

From what i understand, they are bassically just a voltage generator. If you hook up the multi meter and spin the wheel, you should get voltage. If not, the sensor is faulty.
