    Are these decent control arms?

I just got a set of Racing Dynamics springs, some E90 drop hats and some Tokico HP shocks. When i bought my car a couple weeks ago I was told it was recently upgraded to M3 CAB's but the balljoint on the front right is going out. This seems to be the logical assessment due to while I am driving any bumps I hit on the right side cause a hell of a racket and shaking on that side. If this doesn't sound right please speak up.

I think it's general consensus that anything other than OEM control arms are garbage, the ball joints are not made very well and fail quickly, but some have been happy with their aftermarket purchases such as from FCPGroton. I decided to go with Lemfoerder (OEM) off Turner Motorsport for $96/side.

Sorry I could not provide any feedback on the bav recyclers one.

      No.

      Get Lemforder or OEM.
There are like 2 horror stories here on r3v about a control arm breaking in half and running the car over a curb into a tree or something.

        So like these? http://www.fcpgroton.com/product-exe...ategory_id/540

I see the Lem's on there. If there is really a drastic difference in quality I will do it, but for the same $200 the link I provided would allow me to chang out the sway arm and tie rod links which couldn't hurt. I see it has OE part numbers, does that mean these are OEM? Also it looks like this company offers a lifetime warranty so thats good.

I've used the FCP groton stuff before. It seems to be decent enough quality.

I just recently delt with bav recyclers and they sent me the wrong part and refunded shipping and all then sent me the correct part!

Cant beat their excellent customer service.

And as for FCP I believe that is what I ordered about 6years ago and I have 0 complaints excellent quality

Those are not OEM. Who knows what crappy brand they are? "Brand: Aftermarket"...

              Just get Lemforders.

Ok, one more question. Since its just my right thats having issues can I just replace it or is this one of those things I really need to do both sides at the same time?

I find it odd that Meyle is not even mentioned they make a quality replacement part. Maybe not quite as good as Lemfoerder but a good product IMO.

You don't need to replace CA's in pairs and it's not being cheap to do only the right one if the left is still good. Rarely do CA's wear out at exactly the same time, so it's possible the left may even be a newer replacement.

                        DO get the Lemforders though.

EDIT: The suspension kit isn't really a good buy. I just paid $98 for a Lemforder CA from blunt. Most people also prefer to upgrade to the M3 offset CAB's part# 31129061222, I paid $35.55 for the pair.

I had the FCP groton ones and they were fine. Even stood up to a direct impact in a car accident with out breaking (slightly bent though). The mounting surface for the CAB is not perfectly round and require additional effort for installation. I went with Lemfoerders for replacements this time around just to make sure i won't need to replace them any time soon.
