    I.E. rtab bushing orientation..

About to install some IE rtabs. They are thicker on one end then the other.
Does the thicker end go towards the outside (wheel side) or inside (towards diff.)? Replacing all 4 with toe/camber correction kit..

    Thanks,
    Dan

Ireland has close to ZERO post sale support in terms of this part(or any of their parts really). I JUST did them this weekend though. I had a stock E30 to look at as well as a car with AKG. Both the stock and AKGs have the larger side towards the outside of the car on the outer holes of the trailing arms and the fat side goes towards the inside of the car on the inner trailing arm holes.

So it is Thick Skinny Skinny Thick.

Also. You may have to trim/sand both sides. I JUST installed these and lawdy it was a PAIN IN THE ASS. They are oversized and would not physically install because if you got one of the bushings lines up the other one was the thickness of the bracket off... I took them down... Press them together and again... SAME thing. Finally decided to trim them and sand the ends and it first a lot better. Slides right in. Tighten down and fits perfect.

    Thanks Ireland... :shifty

Yup the thin parts go to the center of the A each side.

And yes they are a bitch to fit. You might want to use a lot of lube and a pry bar to slightly open the tabs. Don't worry they will go back when you torque down the bolts.

We tried that first and used a lot of lube... it is hard to get anything in there to pry against and trimming them slightly worked a LOT better and once torqued down it was perfect.
