    Performance Friction brake pads

Anyone running these? I'm considering a set of their Z-rated pads later on and was wondering if anyone had any firsthand experience with them.

    Yeah.....

They are not bad for the price.... if you need something that stops fast right in the cold, then these won't... it will take some time to get them warm up..

Also if you wear them down; AutoZone will replace them for free...

Great when you AutoX on the pads....

Thanks Mike, would you recommend them for street use?

        Fred,

Yes I would. For the price and the 'free pads if you use them all' is worth it. I didn't have a problem with them, just becareful when its very cold. They are a bit of a 'performance' pad, so they do need some heat but not compared to Hawk pads.

I'm also running the Performance Friction Z rated pads - on my 5 bolt conversion. They are awesome - but they definitely need a stop or two in the morningfor the pads to have good bite.

So basically if you buy one pair you have a lifetime supply of pads?
