    suspension & brake system rebuild

i'm going to start getting my e30 headed in teh right direction and would appreciate some help in quality replacement parts and a parts list.

    let's start off right:

1 - a list of all needed bushings, balljoints, etc. for a complete suspension rebuilt would be appreciated.

2 - it seems the rubber breaks lines are rotting in a bad way and i figured i might as well go steel braided. i've seen a price range from $80-$180 but have never heard of any of the brands. do you guys have any suggestions on where to shop for quality lines at a decent price?

3 - i will be ordering new wheel bearings/hubs as well and info on the best place to pick up quality fairly priced parts would be appreciated as i have found prices ranging from $70-$120.

4 - looking for a place that sells quality fair priced rotors too.

5 - i plan on getting some full blown coilovers asap and was curious what brand you recommend as being the best for height control and handling. at ecstuning.com, they have a core charge for the spindle housings (and are cheaper after that) and the others don't which leave me scratching my head. why don't gc & kw need these? and if you say you get what you pay for as i'm looking to save $200+ on the fk brand over the others, think again as i have owned that brand and it is a company that puts out quality products. please remember that i am looking for the set-up that goes the lowest and handles the best at that height. as of now i am looking at fk, kw, & gc but if you have any others or input on what i am asking, let me know.

sorry for all the questions and the semi-long read. any help will be greatly appreciated.

on a side note, i might be interested in a 5-lug swap asap if you have one for the right price but you would need to let me know before i waste money on the rebuild parts.

or since i want to do a steering rack upgrade and engine swap down the line, should i consider just going a big brake upgrade up front so i don't waste money on something i will be taking off.

Are you looking at OEM or Poly for rubbery bits. If Poly, consider AKG. Lots of guys run them and they are a great small operation catering to the BMW enthusiast. I would think SS brake lines would all be about the same, but I may be wrong. I remember when I got mine there lots of different companies selling the same brand, some as their private label stuff and some as just that brand. I am not sure if I got mine from Pelican Parts or RMEuropean, but check around to see what is out there.

          Good Luck

done did it already and yes, i did do stainless steel lines. bought almost everything through bavarian motorsports with the exception of the softest available akg subframe mounts.
