Have them but the entire rear section is on saw horses waiting to be installed..
And the bushing do not have to "give". You could in theory use solid steel bushings..It's the bolts that go through the bushings that adjust. The bushing's just slide within the weld on brackets.Leave a comment:

Anybody?Probably a dumb question, but is it even possible to adjust camber/toe with stiff poly bushings? I just adjusted my brakes yesterday and saw my rear tires were worn pretty bad on the inside so I swapped em to the front.
I've got IE Stage 3 springs and every bushing has been replaced with AKG 75D. It was damn near impossible to do anything to those bushings, so I don't even know if it would be possible to adjust anything with them since there's so little give.

Ah, that's what I figured. I never really looked that close before.because the pickup points of the trailing arms are angled.

Once you have the subframe out install camber correction plates, it makes little sense not to also install toe correction plates. Then you have full control of camber and toe on the rear.Leave a comment:

As far as tire wear goes, I was eating a set of cheap tires every 8,000 miles with frequent rotations. I installed a set of urethane trailing arm bushings and now have over 10,000 miles on this set of cheap ass Federal tires and they have plenty of life left.Leave a comment:

12mm shorter subframe bushings will reduce camber by 1/2 degree. Toe isn't affected that much, so if you have wild toe from lowering your car then something is bent or broken. 3" of lowering is 1/16th in, that's not much, and it's toe out that you really don't want.Leave a comment:

The trailing arms are a in a shape of a slanted A so when you lower it gives a toe in. I am going to buy the other two and do it while I have it out.Leave a comment:

I don't see how toe is affected by lowering. The suspension doesn't move in that plane when compressed/decompressed, so how would it change?
Are the pivot points for the trailing arm not perpendicular to the center axis of the car?Leave a comment:

just get the 12mm shorter subframe bushings. if nothing is bent (ie you have the same camber/toe on both sides) it takes out just enough camber/toe, and there's no welding.Leave a comment:

It would be so dumb to just get one kit. You have to remove/sand/grind/weld/paint the subframe anyways, might as well spend another $75 to be able to get a good alignmentLeave a comment:

If you take a look at a lowered e30's rear tires, you will notice while looking down from the quarter that the wheel sorta tucks in on the left side more than the right. This is toe in that all e30's have but just like camber, greatly increases when you lower it. It changes the whole suspension geometry of the car.
2.5" Eibach 600lb 6" springs up front with modified bill sports and GC camber/caster plates. E30 M3 solid offset CABs and toe is set to .06" on both sides. Camber is at -3 degrees with caster set to 10degrees.
2.25" Eibach 750lb 5" rear springs with good ol billy sport rear shocks. Billet aluminum RSM

I do, I just want to correct it to where it does not eat my tires up. The cool thing with the kit is I can adjust it anytime I want.
I had it lower in the rear before and I ate a pair up in one auto-x. They were on for three days before the auto-x too. 4 days and I killed a pair.
149 for the toe and camber is cheaper then two cheap tires. I will be running R compound tires at the auto-x and those are around 250+ each. I don't want to eat them, I would rather have a tiny bit of camber.
I will do camber first and lower it down to where I want and see how it fairs. I am sure camber will be all I need. It is not like I am SLAMMING it.Leave a comment:
