    Solid Subframe Mount ????

Is anyone out there using the solid rear subframe mounts that are out there. For either a street car or a track car.

I am looking at a build up and I have a few different options. Stock, urethane, or solid.

The car will mostly be a weekend warrior. The only street time it might see it to and from the track. Or the occational sunny day, when I feel the urge to mess with the Honda crowd.

    Any input would be great

I have IE's urethane (street version) on my e30. Love em.

You do not want solid mounting like aluminum or something of that sort.

Get urethane and be done with it. They are plenty stiff.

If cost is a consideration and your car is track only I'd recommend orange IE mounts. For street green is fine. If you don't care how much it costs go with Alum mounts which are a total overkill for a street driven car. Also check the rules is you participate in any competition as solid mounts may put you in SOL class.

            Thanks for all the input.

I will most likely go with the IE "red" urethane.
