Inner rear brake line installation with subframe in?

I am currently replacing my rear wheel bearings, other then a few odds and ends, the rear subframe is ready to be put back together and installed.

I ordered a set of stainless brake lines from UUC, but they are on back order. I wanted to get them in before the subframe goes back up.

If I remove the old lines and install the subframe, so the only thing left is to install the new lines, would that be a PITA? Would it be worth it to complete other projects on the car (plenty) until the brake lines arive or can I get the subframe and all the components out of the way and back under the car?

Remove the two soft lines while the subframe is out. That is the hard part. It isn't too difficult to install the new lines with the subframe in place.

I had just the opposite problem. I got them out with the subframe in but couldn't get them back in. I installed the soft lines from the body BEFORE installing the subframe. It was cake.
