changing control arm??

    changing control arm??

    Just a quick question. Do i need special tools to change my control arm? how hard is it and can i do it with a jack... Thanks..

    Control arms are a pain to get out of the control arm bushings. Make sure you have grease and a table vise and some upper body strength to get them on/off.

      taking the control arm is easy just a couple of bolts.. takeing the bushing out and replacing it is a bitch unless you have a press

        But since im getting a new control arm doesnt it come with the bushings on it?

                indeed safty first.

                yeah you just need to replace it.. so it will pretty easy. not as easy as oil change but do able

                    Pretty sure new control arms come with fresh ball joints pressed in just not the CAB. Rent a 3 jaw puller from autozone or discount makes getting the CAB off a piece of cake.
