    Stiffening the steering wheel

How does one go about making the wheels more responsive to the steering wheel aka making the steering wheel stiff?

The stock steering ratio is really slow on E30's. Especially non M cars. Caster and Camber will help some. You can simply remove the power steering as well. In parking lots will be the only time you notice not having it. This will make it stiffer as you say. If you want more responsive you need to go with a lower ratio steering rack. From an M3 or otherwise. I'd just remove your power steering, that is free.

When I did mine I left the majority of the line on the rack that head to the pump in place. Then I filled them with fluid to keep the rack lubed and blocked them with a bolt then zip tied them to the subframe. Works great.

You don't NEED powersteering, you'll get used to it quickly.

removing your power steering is for retards, it will not make your steering move any faster either.

Actually you would want less caster (the opposite of M3 bushings) to make the steering feel sharper.

More caster tends to dull the turn in just a bit, but gives a more solid feel at high speed.
