    Min thickness for rear rotors?

    Whats the minimum thickness? About to swap pads, need to know if I need to do rotors too.

    Depends on rotors sometimes. Looks for a stamp on the hub for the number. Normally it is there if there is not too much surface rust covering it.

      The wear limit of a BMW rotor is 1mm per side. A simple check is to compare the ridge (if there is one) with the thickness of a dime. It the ridge is that high, or nearly that high, replace the rotor.
      The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
