    Removing rear brake lines.

The rear brake lines that I am talking about are located above the subframe. There doesn't look like an easy way to remove them and install new ones. I was just wondering if somone had discovered a method of removing them without dropping the subframe.

Patience, plenty of swearing and a good assortment of wrenchs and crows foot attachments.

I replaced all the lines in the rear including the metal pipes on my old '85 325e and let me tell you it's quite the task. But doable never the less.

it's easier without the exhaust in place. also, you can undo the subframe mounts and lower it a little bit for extra clearance, use a jack to support the diff.
