    Hey lennon,

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? I'm looking at picking up an E30 soon and it is going through the same thing.

Check this article out on compensating ports.

I'm bumpign this thread because I'm having the same issue and its driving me crazy. My car is a little differnt I eliminated the ABS and have 4 brand new calipers. I also eliminated the booster because this is a race car. My car does the same as expalined brakes are staying applied and the only way to release them is to releave the hydro psi at the master and or bleeder.

I am ready to redsign the entire system and adapt a universal wilwood master if I cant get this working.

      PLEASE HELP

Make sure that the adjustment between the pedal and booster isn't too tight. If that is okay, replace the booster.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Ill check the spacing tonight when I get home, I do not have a booster. I eliminated it to make it a manuel brake set up.

I had the same problem/symptoms, changed the booster after trying many other things and finally success.

In that case, with the ABS delete, I'd suspect that the master cylinder isn't returning to the rest position, which opens ports in the master to release pressure.
