The Sir Tools subframe bushing kit works super well. But unless you plan on doing this job multiple times it is hard to justify the cost. In a like manner the Sir Tools rear bearing kit turns that job into a trivial exercise.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Just use a torch and some lag bolts. It isn't that bad really.

I used this on the trailing arms because I could not get the arm lined up in my press. Just use a torch OP, works like a charm!

I never used bolts or anything, just a torch and burning rubber!

I got a pitman arm puller from Harbor Freight, ground the ears off, used a three arm puller borrowed from O'Rieleys, and a heat gun. Worked like a charm and cost less than $10. Here's a link to how to make the tool and pull the bushings:

Pro tip: If you torch the rear trailing arm bushings, mine exploded off and shot across my garage on fire, so be careful.

FWIW, I just returned the tool to Monty23psk. It worked just like it should. Money well-spent, IMHO.

Thanks J. It is available once I get it back for anyone that is intersted in it.

                          BMW bushing tool

The owner of the cars I work on just bought the BMW subframe tool kit, but there are no instructions with it, anybody have a link to the instructions or a video guide?
I could probably figure it out but it's reassuring for the customer if you look like you know what you're doing.
                          Thanks

What brand and model do you have? There are different ones with different instructions. Concept is the same though.
