here is my mock-up. The bracket is very crude as it was only for test fitting. the final brackets will be made of 1/4" stainless.

The Brembos in the picture above.

According to the post, The one from Latvia, they come with Brembo rotors, hats, and Brembo calipers for $600 US (500 Euro). Are these available in the US? Is that price right? What brand are the coil overs?

g-60's are single piston, turbo 5k's quattro only, are 2 piston, basicaly made the kit that autotech sells myself...just without the bracket/adapter that you don't really need anyways. my g-60 s/s lines wouldn't work either (had g-60 calipers first) had to get longer

The corrado G60 had single piston Girling 54 calipers (G54) and The big audi's had dual piston Girling 60 calipers (G60)
Nice brakes (weigh a ton though) a freind of mine had them on his Corrado.

I think e28 calipers might be a better idea, but I got the e34 calipers for free.

When I get back to work on the 2nd of jan. I will make the final brackets and take some pics. This setup wont fit under my winter B-caps so I'm not really in too much of a hurry to get it finished.

Besides the brackets it should be an easy swap. The centerbore of the VW rotor needs to be opened up ~.040" IIRC to clear the E30 hub. The e34 carrier needs to be clearanced and the backing plates need to be trimmed also. I could make a batch of brackets if you guys want.

The e34 caliper w/carrier weighs 4.5lbs more than the e30 setup. Not as much as i expected.
how much work to open the rotor .040 each time new ones are bought? I take it it has to be done professionally, not just with a dremel or something?

do you know if 15" wheels will work?

it has do be done on a lathe, but it is very simple. It took me about 5 min to do 2 rotors. I doubt a shop would charge much to do it.

Yes, that is the whole idea!
