cant activate abs with new brake stuff

think i can still get the MC off with the brake lines connected? i will be trying a a couple hours. i also hope my dad has a o ring in his big o ring set that will work. Other wise i have to wait to go o the dealer monday, or i guess i could use the old one with some gasket sealer

the old one will work fine.... no gasket sealer... and yes you can take it off with the lines connected

You can use the old o-ring as long as it is in good shape. I.E. - No rips or tears and no flat spots mashed into it.

The old one was in decent shape, but i just decided to use one from the set my dad had. The overall diameter was slightly smaller so it had to be streched a little, but the diameter of the rubber was bigger so i think it will seal better. I also used some gasket sealer too, it couldnt hurt.

i had to disconnect the lines so i will need to have my dad help me bleed it again before i see if it does anything, but im positive it will because the engine ran 10x better when i started it up

you could have told us it was running rough... that deffinatley would have helped diagnose the problem

well i did like 20 other things at the same time including injectors chip taking off all the intake stuff and leaving my afm out in the rain. Never would have thought it would have been because of the brakes
