I would think that using stock calipers with good pads/rotors would work well as long as the system is working as it should. It goes without saying that the rest of your suspension should be in top shape as well and if you run some good grippy tires you should be good to go for anything less than track use. I'm not saying BBK's aren't nice in a lot of ways such as bling, potential reduced weight, and for track use but may not be very beneficial for street use. The question I guess is are you experiencing fade or some other issue and if so why?
Big brake kit - upgrade with bigger engine?

All things being equal sure. but i have larger heavier tires and wheel. I can achieve double the speed in half the distance of a stock e30. I HAD hps pads and slotted rotors.
