I'm dealing with two sorts of sounds coming from my rear passenger side. There's a high pitched grinding and low groaning noise. I captured a video of this you can see below. As for the other video filmed at the end, this is actually not making the noise that you hear in the video - my camera just picks up too much noise from the other side of the car. So, again, only on the passenger side.

Thoughts on this? One thing that I noticed as well is that the passenger wheel shook a bit more than the other one.
To me it sounds like a bad bearing based on the other videos and sound clips I've looked at. Now if that is the case, wheel bearings are a royal pain from what I've read. However, I came across a comment in this thread on bimmerfest. The user alroy mentions this:
I can't find any more information on this on any of the e30 forums. Everyone just seems to talk about how difficult it is. Is anyone aware if this actually a service offered by some shops? Can I just take off my control arms, hand them over a shop and have them take out and press in my new bearing?
I suppose this would be cheaper than taking my car down the shop to having them do it for me.

just did my rears it was a piece of cake, i just pulled the control arms off took it to the parts store and they pressed them for me.
I suppose this would be cheaper than taking my car down the shop to having them do it for me.
