    You sure about that? According to BMW, and everything I've ever read or experienced, all M cars have some type of limited-slip final drive. I believe that the S54 mcoupes and roadsters had a special torsion LSD, which was unique to them.

    And FWIW, all Z3s are OBDII.

        That two eared thing you are looking at is the Rogue Engineering diff cover for the E36 chassis. Hence the RE logo in it.
        The single eared one is the only OE BMW part that was used with the M Coupe/Roadster.
