    Slight Wheel Bearing Problem

Let me start with saying this:
Though this is my first post Ive done quiet a bit of searching before I even joined.
With that being said, I changed my front driver side wheel bearing last week and despite a couple problems everything went smoothly until I put the nut back on and when I went to bend the tab back down the tab broke. I haven't been able find a nut with the tab. All of the usual websites I use for parts only have the tab-less nuts and the rear lock plates.
I honestly hate making a whole thread about me trying to find a nut but im really at a loss and with the bimmer being my only car Im not thrilled about the chance of my wheel flying off.

When replacing a front wheel bearing you use a new nut and form the tab into the notch in the stub axle. My favorite tool is a slitting chisel that just a touch narrower than the notch. But acceptable results can be obtained with a large screwdriver.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

...and if you have to drive it like that for a day or 2, chances are it's not going to fly off...

Yeah, exactly. As long as you torqued the fuck out of it, you'll be fine. If it does come loose, you'll get some nasty vibrations long before you'll lose a wheel in a violent fashion.
