    redrilling hubs to 4x108

I have a nice set of 4x108 mesh wheels, was thinking about redrilling my 91 318 hubs to 4x108 , has anyone tried, i assume theres enough material to do it.

Just buy adapters or have the wheels redrilled

It seems really easy to redrill your hubs. No guarantees that its safe.

Really? Take a drill to your car to fit a set of wheels?!

As said above run adapters, redrill the wheels, or get wheels that fit.

No drill, i would get blueprints and have my freinds uncle drill and tap them, he has a machine shop, and probably have him machine me a head flange to so i can make my turbo manifold.

I know that 5x120 is too wide a pcd to fit on the hubs, 4x108 might fit though. The hub tapers towards the outside, so take a look at them and see if there is 4mm extra space towards the outside before it starts tapering. As long as there is, there's no problem.

You'll also need to get the rotors redrilled, and make sure that the centerbore of the wheel isn't smaller then 57.1. You also need to be sure that the offset is correct on the wheels and that they clear the caliper up front, otherwise you may either have a wheel that sticks out too far or one that requires spacers anyways.
