    Removing Poly Trailing Arm Bushings

I just installed a set of poly bushings in my 318ti trailing arms, but i need to remove them. I found out that the sleeve ID wasn't machined to 12mm. It is 10.9mm, which is the stock the manufacturer uses. I also installed them wrong and trapped air, causing them to keep from fully seating. I have tried pulling them out, pressing the sleeve out, and drilling a hole to relieve the air, but nothing has worked. What do you guys recommend?

Push or drive out the sleeve. The bushings will then easily come out.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I tried that already. The sleeve is in there too tight.

It will come out. But you may have to press it out or use a puller.

Put the bushings in first, then push the sleeve through. So much easier than trying to force air out.

To get them out, youre going to need to remove the sleeve first. A few sockets and a big c clamp should be all you need

I tried two sockets and a c clamp but the sleeve is in there too tight and the clamp keeps slipping off.
If I cut off an end, the bushings are shot. lol I would have gotten them out already if I wanted to destroy them.
I'm borrowing a 12 ton press to do my wheel bearings, so hopefully that gets the sleeves out.
