    brake bleeding help

i got one of those pressure bleeder deals, but first off it leaks so i need to send it back but it does hold pressure long enough to do what i need to do an pump it some more.

question is, i did the right rear no problem, then i went to left rear and no fluid would come through the line. Anyone have any idea what is going on?

The valve is probably clogged. It happened on one of mine. I just unscrewed the whole thing (which causes a ton of fluid to come out) and unclogged it with a needle.

well there isn't much fluid in the line right now because i upgraded to SS lines and most of it leaked out at that point. I will try it though.

With the bleeder open just go around and stand on the brake pedal... any blockage in that bleeder tube will be forced out...

            I'd take it off.

do you have the pressure bleeder full of fluid? they are designed to vent pressure once the fluid level drops to a certain point, so if you don't have enough fluid in there it will "leak" out the top. also make sure you have the rubber washer in between there, the one that came with mine was crap so I end up taking the one out of my resivior cap and using that for the power bleeder instead (just don't forget to put it back!).

so i still can't get the fluid to bleed through after doing all of the following i guess i have to loosen up the SS lines and try to see if there is anything messing up the connections.

so i disconnected the rear hard line 2nd SS line and the fluid flows like crazy so obviously the problem is in the caliper somewhere. Ideas? rebuild it?
