I have 1984 325e and planning to rebuild everything but this came no ABS. But I have that 1987 325es came with a ABS. I wondering its possible to put ABS in 1984 325es. Is worth it? Lets discuss why and why not?

I've heard swapping it is a big PITA though. probably not worth it to swap over, if you really want ABS it would be better go just get a shell that already has it.Comment

It seem easy to me to do this. After I looked at my 1987 325es. It have lot of similar but need to bypass the brake tubes. Only I need to get ODBI wire harness from 1991 and able to use ABS system in 1984. Agreed?

people who race usually know how to modulate their brake pedal better (threshold braking, etc). but on the street, give me ABS anyday over a non-abs car. it's far superior in the rain, uneven surfaces etc.Comment

Umm.. Then I dont need ABS because I know how to handle raining and snow.. Its easy to avoid the accident. Who dont know how to handle that should use ABS system.
