What drum brake shoe size do I need?

I have a 1986 318i with rear drum brakes. Need shoes asap. Can get but local retailer has two sets, sized "228.6" and "228.8". Does it even matter? Doubt anyone will know as drum brakes are a bit rare..

Check out your drums - I believe they're asking what diameter they are, sometimes it's stamped on the drum somewhere.

That assumes new drums. The point is the arc of the drums and shoes need to match. If you get the drums turned you need to bring the new shoes along to be arced.
