Found out today one of the hard lines to the right of the driver side frame rail is leaking brake fluid. Called all around, no one knows if you can get pre-made ones. It seems I will have to pick one up from advance auto and bend it myself..yay. Pelican only has it special order from BMW, and I don't know if it comes premade or not..and I need it by saturday.
can you get premade hard lines?

Im pretty sure the brake lines come straight and you have to bend them... The ones I got from the dealer came that wayComment

bending isn't as daunting as it seems. trust me i got straight lines and was like sweet i have no idea what i'm doing. but once it's done you'll be happy. you just gonna do kind of a tetris game to get it in the car.
go to napa and they'll have different lengths with connectors already on so you don't have to flare the ends or cut anything.
bend it against a 19 or 20mm socket to get nice bends. that's what i did and it turned out really really nice.

A decent tube bender is like $15 and doesn't flatten the line at the bends. Why not?Originally posted by priapismMy girl don't know shit, but she bakes a mean cupcake.Originally posted by shamesonUsually it's best not to know how much money you have into your e30Comment

i never had a problem flattening the lines. and when you use a big enough socket, it won't kink either.
also, that tool won't really fit in the places you'll probably need to bend it. you're going to have to bend it as you go on the car. you can't prebend it. it's too much. at least not for a rear brake line.
