    Best rear subframe urethane kit.

I'm looking to put in a subframe from a 91 IX into my 91 325 and the car will be tracked and autocrossed. I saw condor has a kit and I could get the same thing from Ireland engineering? Anything better?

Condor products are made out of UHMW which is a hard plastic. Akg, IE, and Revshift; just to name a few, all offer polyurethane base bushings. Now which one is best you ask? Well, you'll find different answers because everyone has their own personal preferences based on experiences or w.e. But in general, if your seriously tracking this vehicle, Go solid.

Btw, I have a complete bushing kit from Akg (75d) for the rear end if interested

I run condor motor+trans mounts and revshift bushings everywhere else. I just bought whichever had the better sale on black friday. Everything is holding up with no problems so far.

But condor is sounding like the right choice. I would like to have most to all of my suspension bushings the same hardness and by the same company.

I run condors compete line, it's still dd'able (though i don't do, if the car was less of a drift rat I'd have no issues tho) the trans mounts do cause the most noise and vibration.

Do whatever floats your boat, but do some research. The condors are the latest to get some fanboyism. Before that it was revshift.. before that it was akg. .... in another couple years it'll be the next guy. For me there is no way in hell I'd run umhw on a street car. On a race car I'd only use them for mounts if there was no other option (wouldn't even consider it for a bushing given its deformation characteristics.)

I'm all for supporting the community... but ireland, akg, and r3vshift have already been doing that for longer already.

Since this is a street car, Why not go with Oem bushings? The quality is there, they've held up for 20+ years, and they're cheap. You'll be surprised what fresh bushings can do on the track and street.

if i did the job again i would run poly in the subframe and diff mounts and condors stuff in the trailing arms

I have Irelands in a DIRT track car. on the rears. and have had NO PROBLEMS. put revshift for engine mounts and they broke in the second night (drilled them out and made them solid)
but I recommend IE. you want it more solid then stock rubber if your tracking it!

So umhw and poly are different right?

Yup. Umhw is like Delrin a lot harder and more plastic like as poly is more rubbery. Poly for bushings and Umhw for mounts.

For a track or race car, I use AKG aluminum subframe and differential mounts.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
