    failed brakes :(

    So, my brakes failed today.

I pressed hard on the pedal, heard a loud pop and pedal traveled to the floor., no braking power whatsoever. Had to come down the canyons using 1st and 2nd gear as brake system, very scary stuff., eventually was able to get a little bit of it back by pumping the pedal a whole lot.

    - there's plenty brake fluid in the reservoir,
    - don't see any leaking or wet areas anywhere.
    - able to get a little bit of braking if pump the pedal a gazillion times.

I'll have a better look tomorrow, will remove each wheel and inspect it better.

    what can be wrong ??
did the brake booster failed ?

    setup...
IE BBK kit (Corvette C6 calipers)
    SS lines
    25mm M/C
    fluid changed 3 months ago.

    Thanks,
    Frank

        Hey Frank

Failed booster would give you the exact opposite problem.

My guess is your M/C has crapped itself. No external leaks but no brake pressure indicates the seals in the master cylinder have failed.
