How do I remove this wheel bearing

So Im installing new front hubs on my 89 325i. I used a hub puller and the passenger side went fine but when I pulled the hub off the drivers side this piece came off the hub and now I can't get it out.

Should I just get a used strut housing? Or do you guys have a trick to get this out

Dremel it off. Be gentle, and when you get almost all the way through to the shaft, put a blade screw driver in your cut groove and tap it open.

This. You can also try heating it up a bit and sliding it off.

This, exactly. If done correctly it comes off really easily with no damage to the rest of the assembly.

That is easy, you need a puller with chisel pointed jaws. I use a SnapOn that has a means of tightening the jaws down into the gap between the the spindle.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

There's enough of a lip on that race that I was able to knock it off using a ground down screw driver as a drift.

this is the inner race right? will a standard HF 3 jaw puller get this off?

This happened to me when I did my driver's side bearing last year. If you can get it just far enough to get a 3-jaw on it, easy peasy.

Funny thing, I did my passenger side one a few months and the inner race separated again, but on that side it basically slid off. Didn't even need the puller I'd rented.

DON'T FORGET THE SPLASH GUARD BEFORE YOU PUT THE NEW BEARING ON!!!! I almost did this the second time I did this job. Luckily caught myself and was able to gently get the bearing off.
