    Subframe differences?

I'm trying to find out if the front subframe of a 325ic will fit my 325. Can't seem to find any solid answers. Or if they are different, does it matter? Thanks in advance.

All E30 subframes (other than 325iX) interchange.

However, the m10 and m40 cars (at least with manual transmission) have an additional bracket for a small strut meant to limit engine movement or to just further dampen vibrations.

The bushings are different but I'm quite sure the subframe itself is the same. My roommate has a non awd subframe in the rear of his ix.

You can do a 325ix subframe! I did it today. It just has a different offset.

                ^This

Front ix subframe will not work, rear is identical once you swap to the correct bushings

Only the rear hubs make for a difference in wheel offset on the ix.
