    Subframe bracket install

    Hi all,
Finishing up my swap with replacing the rtabs + subframe bushings. I have installed the subframe bushings and the associated 22mm nut with bracket. I am able to get one 6 mm Allen head bolt closest to the front of the engine in but I cannot get the second one in.

I tried manipulating the bracket, trying to get the aft most one in first, all with no luck. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to install both of them verse just the one.

I am using the akg 75d red bushings if that makes a difference.

    Thanks for the help.

Loosen the 22mm nut so you have enough play to get the Allen bolts snug.

I tried loosening the 22mm nut, but didn't have any luck. I'll send AKG an email.

iirc if the bushing is upside down or not all the way up inside it can do that.

I think it may not be all the way up. AKG got back to me and told me to jack the subframe all the way up, install the 2 fasteners and then the 22mm nut last. I'll double check to see if the subframe is all the way up, but I feel the picture posted shows it is.
