My E30 sat for over a year with a mess of problems, and now its time to tackle my brakes issue.
My brake pedal has no pressure against it while im stepping on it, and not until the pedal is fully pressed to the floor will the brakes eventually work.
My first question is does the brake booster keep constant vacuum? Im not 100% sure i have asking the question correctly, but i was attempting to seafoam my car through the vacuum line coming off the brake booster, the hose that connects booster to the check valve was a PITA, so i just disconnected the rubber hose, and put a cone with flex hose to be able to pour seafoam slowly into it, but the brake booster was not creating any vacuum.
so again, if the brake booster isnt creating a vacuum, could that be the cause of the brake pedal being soft?
