They have great bite, especially when warm. But they don't make rear HP+ pads, only HPS, so I have HPS in the rear.318is -gone-

I bought a combo set off evil-bay over a month ago. They work great, are a little noisy if you're grannying the brakes, and they make a lot of dust.
Couple those pads with the Falken RT-615's and they will almost put you thru the windshield on a hard stop.

HP+ do not dust much for daily driving. The compound is very hard. However, they dust substantially when being worked.
They do squeal an unnecessary amount - more than a lot of race pads I know.
They're decent for a daily driven car, however; an emergency stop on the freeway does take more effort than a normal street pad.
I have them front and rear currently, but I'll be switching to carbotech panther plus when the hawks wear out. A lot more $ though.87 325IS - Delphin Grey/Cardinal

I'll disagree with IS on the dust when DD them. I find they do dust a lot even on the street - and not being flogged, BTW.
Having said that, they are a good combo track/street pad. Mind you they are not a racing pad, but they are a good DE pad.Current Cars2014 M235i2009 R56 Cooper S1998 M31997 M3

I have used the HP+ street and track. Good pad.
Good for light cars. Or cars that don't see "fast" tracks.
But they are streetable, that's a huge plus.
I'm putting a pair on my M3 after this next track session.

I have both HPS and HP + being put to street use. They squeal on and off and can be annoying in some situations as you would expect.
As to dusting. The HP + DUST up a STORM. Each time I wash my front wheels and hose the wheels and around the bottom strut the dirty water that flows is enough to poision the organisms living in the driveway. I am glad I have Koseis as they can stain your wheels due to the fact they cake on when mixed with rain or water so be wary when you use them with "pretty wheels" :p
I personally wouldn't categorize them as "street pads."

The HP+ is definetly a street pad, I've run them for years. Great stopping ability when cold, and certainly not bad for an e30 for track usage. It's a great autox pad.
I've bumped up to HT10's for track use and am not looking back, but the HP+ is a great pad nonetheless.

Ot: What rotors are you guys using with your HP+? I just got a set of Porterfield R-4. I meant to get the R-4s (street/autox) pads but got mixed up and ordered the wrong ones. I've decided to go with them though but want to get an equal rotor. I have dealer pricing on Porterfield and thought about getting their rotors. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Doesn't matter what rotors you use as long as you dont use those ebay special drilled/slotted rotors. Not only are you increasing the chances of cracks, but you're introducting more void area - therefore less friction per unit of force.
You cannot go wrong with OEM brembo rotors. They're only about $120 for a set of 4 on tirerack too.87 325IS - Delphin Grey/Cardinal
