    My car has no brakes??

    So took my car for a test run today after building exhaust and it has no brakes. The pedal is solid has some give but not much. I did rear disc conversion and bled my brakes and it all seemed right it felt like I had brakes when I was pushing pedal to stop when i was rolling car around but now it does nothing. Took forever to come to a stop at a 15-20 mph roll. eventually it stopped but not after along time. It doesn't even feel like the front calipers are biting. cant really tell if the rear are or not. Any help is appreciated.

    sounds like you're not getting any vacuum assist. does the pedal feel any different between when the car is on and off?

      Nope not at all stiff as hell on or off. I was wondering maybe that would be issue since i re did the lines when i m30 swapped maybe check valve is backwards? cause when i press the pedal I can hear the booster working but nothing it happening.

        Is the line from brake booster to manifold GTG?

          Check the vac line as suggested above... But it sounds like the booster peaced out.

          This is what happens with my car if I, say, roll it out of the garage while it's off and I push the brake pedal.

            I know the line to the manifold is connected. I think i could of put the check valve back on wrong.

            It did this with the car on and off. I'm gonna flip my check valve and then if that doesn't work see if its plumbed right. Gonna do process of elimination start with booster plumbing and check valve and work my way through the system. The car has no abs so at this point its a simple hydraulic system so only so much can go wrong. And i know the clutch works just fine and that works of same hydraulic system.

              If you did a rear disc conversion my guess is there's a hydraulic problem. The car should stop reasonably even with out vac

                My M3 had very week brakes due to a faulty check valve, and a vacuum leak on the fitting on the ITB that fed the booster.

                  Issue was fixed with the installation of the porsche 944 booster. Now to fix the idle.
