Just installed some RTAB and after I got everything back together I noticed the bushings themselves are moving with the trailing arm instead of the trailing arm moving around the bushings. Just wondered if its possibly that I didn't get the inside of the trailing arm clean enough. Doesn't seem like it would last too long rubbing on the bracket like it is. Any ideas?

Is my RTAB supposed to be moving?

That is how it should be. There is a sleeve inside the bushing that lets the arm move up and down.
Just for reference, here is a picture in the link below.

Actually, you are supposed to tighten the TAB lock down bolt with the car on the ground in "normal" position so as not to preload the bushings.mthis means they should not swivel at all. If they do I suspect they need to be tightened to (I believe) 60ftlbs although it's tou to get a torque wrench on themSeat Shocks....I have passed the baton to John Christy from Ninestitch. You put the bushes in the arms dry right? Only lubricate the face, inside and the sleeve. If you lubricate the outer of the bush where it fits into the arms, they'll twist for sure.Just a little project im working on
